"Er-- okay! Give me a minute." He definitely wasn't prepared to just head out, so he heads inside to grab his boots, sword, and to check himself out in the mirror to make sure he looks presentable. The treehouse is a lot messier than she's likely last seen it, with Claude returning to his old habits of books strewn everywhere, and what looks like a map, potions and various ingredients lying on a table.
Once he's ready, he returns to the door. "All right! Let's go."
Flayn peers around at the changes in the house, recalling that Claude's room back at Garreg Mach looked very much the same. The product of a busy mind, she reasons. She wanders over to the table to look at the map, which is what she's doing when Claude returns.
"Yes indeed!" She hands him one of the fishing poles and makes her way back outside and down the stairs, where her miniature pegasus looks up from her grazing and gives Claude a vaguely suspicious look. "Do not be rude, Áine."
She sighs. "If only she and your wyvern were large enough to ride!"
"What did I do?" he asks, a little pouty at that suspicious look. He's not actually upset, more amused than anything by the little pegasus.
As for Flayn's remark about their familiars, he nods. "Yeah, it'd make life a lot easier, wouldn't it? Probably not worth renting horses just for a fishing trip, though." And Archimedes was already... less than impressed with him when he brought back some exhausted horses after the desert expedition. "Where are we headed?"

"Today, you and I are going fishing. And I have packed us some snacks as well! So let us be off."
(Flayn, is he even wearing shoes yet?)
